To omega watch owners?
I think I'm going to be lucky enough to receive and omega seamater professional for my birthday (it's a big one)

Just wanted to ask others owners of this type of watch if they have ever had any problems with it and more importantly does it still feel as nice to own as the day you bought it? Do you find you get a lot of compliments for the watch? I've tried the watch on and it's beautiful. It's the goldeneye quartz version as the automatic is just too expensive. What's your thoughts on quartz versus automatic?
I feel the same about watches as I do for well made cars, massive generalisation but it's probably similiar to how women feel about shoes and handbags and the like.
I know it's personal opinion but Movado isn't in the same league as an omega completely differrent price brackets. it's like comparing a ford mondeo to an Aston Martin. Movado is what £300, omegas start at £1420.
